I’m sorry, but the children from Philadelphia are just too much of awful creatures, who are even worse than the Bravo Prep School kids whom I kind of actually like after being sucked in to their Cinderella world, masquerading as human beings for me to muster up an ounce of sympathy for or interest in their Seinfeldian ridiculous character shenanegans sans the studio audience canned laughter, because after mid-way thru the second season I finally decided that I Just Don’t Like these ‘people’ and therefore stopped watching, even though a co-worker loaned me the boxed set that he was so proud to have me be a part of.

John, I’m so sorry about your family’s loss of their dog, I get it completely! I have 2 dogs and 1 cat, and I like them WAY better then my kids most of the time!

Another great show guys. Rob I can totally relate on the fun you had to get the new Iphone. I went to my AT&T store and went early and all they had left was 32 GB and I hadn’t planned on buying that one but I did. The guy took forever to get it setup and then I took it home and all night long it kept wanting to turn off. So I had to call Apple only to be told that they will have to ship me a new one and it was so frustrating. The only good thing is that I received the new one the next day and everything is great!

I am a long time listener commenting for the first time. The snarky and sweet comraderie that you and Rob share is terrific, but your solo show was really well done. I especially liked that you took time to talk about outing and the documentary “Outrage” since I know you can get passionate about gay rights issues.

One interesting note of correction–I had the opportunity to interview with director Kirby Dick for the film and can attest to the fact that he is a straight, married guy with grown kids. He is not a gay man but is deeply committed to exposing the hypocrites who stand in the way granting a full set of rights to GLBT people. The fact that he’s a straight man makes his work on “Outrage” even more impressive to me.

Thanks to you and Rob for all the joy you pour into my headphones show after show.

WOW – I’m famous – Thanks for including my tweet.
I’ll add my own fuck-up on stage story.
I was doing “It’s a Bird… It’s a Plane… It’s Superman!” i.e. the Superman musical (yes, it exisits, God help us all) in college. I was playing the villain, Dr. Abner Sedgewicke. At one point I was suppossed to pull a gun on the secondary villain character. Yet, I had failed to check my props and as I reached into the desk drawer to pull the gun out.. it was gone. I did all I could do and grabbed the phone on the desk and had to threaten to strangle him with the phone cord. Amusing to hear the other actor have to change the line from “Put down the gun, Prof.” to “Put down the… phone, Prof.”
Needless to say, I always check my props now before each and every show.
Take it easy and keep up the great work. Your show has become one the highlights of my week and I’m inspired to start a show of my own. Who knows, maybe I’ll actually pull it off.
OK, back to my world. I have rehearsal in the morning and need to get off book.

I can’t thank John and Rob enough for mentioning our wedding on the podcast last night.

My husband (woah, still weird to say) Tim and I both have had our share of internal struggle and to have our closest friends & family be there with us, and be SO SO SO supportive (grandparents included) and loving toward us both is something that I never imagined possible.

I hope we can just be an example of why we all need to keep the fighit going, we are lucky in Massachusetts. Know we are pulling for the rest of you who want to simply show the world your love by SIMPLY being married.

On a more fun note – the party was AWESOME and our honeymoon in Palm Springs couldn’t have been better!

First of all, I don’t think you put anyone to sleep talking. I think you did a great job with this episode. Curious to hear what your thoughts were on Star Trek, but like you said, we’ll hear more about that when Rob makes his return. Definite highlight was your short story. Think it gave a great look into you as a person, but also draws a great lesson, an attitude towards life, that we all can apply in our lives. Amazing! Thanks for sharing.

The tan lines are a mixed result for me. If it’s like a mexican who has dark skin and a pale white ass, super gross. Although just some light tan lines could be sexy. I think we’re gonna need a picture of these claimed tan lines robbie, just for proof. hah.

Hi Jeff, believe it or not, I have never seen one episode of AbFab. It was always something I meant to get to but never have. I’m a terrible gay. I did look up the song Rob suggested and it totally kicks ass.

I loved tanning, just loved it. I look forward to getting back to it, but hopefully moderation will prevail, but no promises there.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback on the website! I hope to add more awesome features as I get more comfortable with this web design thing.

And tanning IS good for the SAD’s. Just keep it in moderation. And yes, I have been known to suppliment the natural abundant sources here in the sun soaked desert strictly for convenience sake. Vitamin D, bring it on!

JMH, how could you possibly not know about Marianne Faithfull, as I’m sure you were a Faithfull watcher of the Absolutely Fabulous creation of Jennifer Saunders! Although I’m not sure how I feel about her current raspy (re)incarnation vs. the her glory days of the 60′s/70′s. Although I can certainly relate to some of that history…
